Has anyone been to the hotel Grand Flamenco in Puerto Plata on the Dominican?

We are going in July, and have been told that the hotels are busier at the weekends with visitors from the local area. Is this so?

Wow! My fiancé works at that hotel! He told me that he'll be having to work until 2am these next two weeks to accomodate all the TOURISTS that are there, and the ones who are coming. Usually around Cinco de Mayo is when the hotels are full of locals and Dominicans who who go back home for that holiday. Enjoy yourself! =)

By the way, it's always hot and humid there. Even in November
